In the olden days our ancestors devoured fewer carbohydrates than we do today such as, processed carbs, starch, bread, and less grains. Most people do not think about the agricultural revolution, other than something that the learned when they were in school as it does not have any relevance to you in your busy work filled lives. We would not have cities, technology, and we would not have had as many break through in the medical field. It has been recently discovered that our ancestors ate an even more low carb diet than what we originally thought. While each cultural ate different kinds of plants and animals then each other it has been proven that the at two thirds animal foods and about one third plant foods because of the huge scale of agriculture we have been bomb-barded with nutritional related diseases that were not around when our ancestors lived. These new foods have caused a truck load of problems to our bodies and they vary completely from the healthy food that our ancestors used to eat.

The more we search and search we see how we are better suited to eat a low carb diet such as the Paleo Diet. Humans never used to eat all of the foods that have been introduced to us over the last 50 years and as such they were healthier as they did not eat sugar, grains, high fructose corn liquids, dairy, vegetable oils and other modern foods. Because of the slow process of evolution our bodies have been destroyed by eating foods that are so-called healthy and that are not in line with the Paleolithic constitution.
